El Castell de Guadalest

The bike ride to Guadalest is a memorable journey that takes you through the picturesque landscapes of the region. Guadalest is a charming village nestled in the mountains, offering breathtaking views and a rich historical heritage. 

You'll first make your way through the urban areas, enjoying the coastal scenery as you pedal along the designated bike lanes. Once you're on the CV-773 road, you'll continue southward, cycling along the coastline. This road offers picturesque views of the Mediterranean Sea..

As you follow the CV-773 road, you'll pass by Playa de Muchavista, a long stretch of sandy beach known for its beauty and tranquility. This is an excellent spot to take a break,  and perhaps grab a snack or refreshments at one of the beachfront establishments.

Continuing along the CV-773 road, you'll reach the town of El Campello. This popular beach resort town offers a pleasant promenade and a scenic marina.

Continuing further south, you'll arrive at Villajoyosa. This colorful coastal town is known for its vibrant houses along the waterfront and its historic chocolate-making traditions.

From Villajoyosa, you'll continue southward on the CV-770 road, which will lead you to Benidorm. As you approach Benidorm, you'll be greeted by its iconic skyline dominated by high-rise buildings. The city offers beautiful sandy beaches, bustling promenades, and a vibrant nightlife scene.

Once you reach the A-70 or A-7 highway, you'll continue northwestward, cycling through the towns and landscapes of the Valencia region. Follow the signs and directions toward Valencia, as Xàtiva is located to the southwest of the city.
 
As you approach Valencia, you'll need to navigate through the city or take alternative routes to bypass it, depending on your preference and the specific roads you choose. The city of Valencia offers several cycling-friendly paths and infrastructure, allowing you to safely traverse through the urban areas.


Once you have passed Valencia, you'll continue cycling westward, following the appropriate roads that lead toward Xàtiva. The most common route is to continue on the A-7 highway, which takes you through picturesque landscapes and rural areas.

As you near Xàtiva, you'll find signs guiding you toward the town center. Xàtiva is a historic town known for its rich cultural heritage, including its impressive castle, the Castillo de Xàtiva.
